But I'd love to know if he was "asked forcefully" to admit it by the record company, or be face with no gig... What'd be better, taking the blame for something that wasn't your fault or losing a profile gig like that?

well, if he's in charge of start/stop of the tracks on a laptop, then it's on him. I saw the laptop off his left side.
